Positive Thinking Hypnosis

Hypnotize Yourself For Success - Self Hypnosis

Binaural beats or binaural tones are auditory processing artifacts, or apparent sounds, the perception of which arises in the brain for specific physical stimuli. This effect was discovered in 1839 by Heinrich Wilhelm Dove, and earned greater public awareness in the late 20th century based on claims that binaural beats could help induce relaxation, meditation, creativity and other desirable mental states. The effect on the brainwaves depends on the difference in frequencies of each tone: for example, if 300 Hz was played in one ear and 310 in the other, then the binaural beat would have a frequency of 10 Hz.[1][2]
The brain produces a phenomenon resulting in low-frequency pulsations in the amplitude and sound localization of a perceived sound when two tones at slightly different frequencies are presented separately, one to each of a subject's ears, using stereo headphones. A beating tone will be perceived, as if the two tones mixed naturally, out of the brain. The frequencies of the tones must be below 1,000 hertz for the beating to be noticeable.[3] The difference between the two frequencies must be small (less than or equal to 30 Hz) for the effect to occur; otherwise, the two tones will be heard separately and no beat will be perceived.
Binaural beats are of interest to neurophysiologists investigating the sense of hearing.[4][5][6][7]
Binaural beats reportedly influence the brain in more subtle ways through the entrainment of brainwaves[3][8][9] and have been claimed to reduce anxiety[10] and provide other health benefits such as control over pain.

Not All “What If” Thinking Is Bad Thinking!!

Doctors say that not all bacteria is bad for you. Sure you have the kind of bacteria that causes inflammation in your body. The kind of bacteria that causes you to get sick – the kind that causes diseases.

But studies show that some bacteria is actually good for you. Some bacteria can actually strengthen your immune system. This bacteria will in turn cause you to fight off sickness and disease. My friend, I like to liken this sort of mentality to the way we think.
You see, experts say that you should eliminate all “what if” thinking completely. You know those thoughts of worry, fear, doubt, insecurity… Well, what if I can’t overcome this addiction?” “What if I can’t be made whole?” “What if the doctor’s report comes back negative?” “What if I try out for the team and I don’t make it?
For the most part you do want to avoid this kind of thinking. An overflow of these thoughts can indeed cause you to flow into a downward spiral.
However, we all have those times when we can’t help but think “what if” thoughts. Sometimes they’re not all bad. In fact, I believe some “what if” thoughts can cause you to break out of ruts.
I’m reminded of a time when I was younger and I touched a hot stove. Before I ever touched the hot stove, I always thought – “What happens if I touch the hot stove… how hot can it be?” Well, one day I worked up the nerve to touch the stove and I must say it was the hottest touch I ever experienced. Thankfully, my instincts caused an immediate jerk reaction. It was at that time I learned what does happen when I touch a hot stove and vowed to never do it again.

Well, this is what should happen when we find ourselves thinking “what if” thoughts. We should allow them to instill just enough fear into us that no matter what happens in life, we know that God has our best interests at heart and therefore we should not worry.
You see, it’s the “what if” thoughts that give us character. It’s the “what if” thoughts that spark our curiosity and gives us the experience to know what’s good for us and what’s not good for us.
Well what if I don’t win the race? Well, what if you don’t win the race? Will you give up? Will you become saturated in defeat or will you press on until you reach victory?
What if I don’t do well on the test? Well, what if you don’t do well? Will you let that discourage you or will you use that let-down to catapult you onto the dean’s list?

Rest assured that when you take the high road, you’re causing strength to your supernatural immune system. You’re fighting off diseases and building courage! You’re strengthening your faith!

You see, you’ve got to use those negative thoughts to empower you to do better. No matter what happens in life, your thinking shouldn’t be “what if,” your thinking should be “what now!” In other words, you should always be striving to reach that next level in life.

When the enemy shoots fiery darts of negativity and discouragement in your life, fire back with God’s plan of action for your life!

I believe that God’s ultimate plan will cause you to triumph. God’s plan for your life is that prosperity is in your future. Realize that you’re not inferior, you are superior! Understand today that your best days are ahead of you and that God has an ultimate plan that’s tailor-made just for you!

25 Positive Affirmations – Take Control of Your Mind

A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. – Luke 6:45 KJV

A wise man once said: “An idle mind is the devils workshop.” I believe this is true. I always say if you don’t fill your mind, then the devil will fill it for you. The enemy will try to convince you that you’re not good enough or that you’re not physically able to do something. He’ll even try to convince you that you’re loosing your mind.
Don’t allow the enemy to get into your mind and convince you that you’re worthless. You can have so many trials coming at you left and right but remember, Ephesians 6:12 tells us: “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”
Inpsirational Messages | Positive AffirmationsYou make your trials worse than they really are by the thoughts that you think in your mind. Our biggest battle is the battle we have in our mind. My friend we have to take control of our thoughts and actions. Below, I have devised a list of 25 positive affirmations, that will help give you a more positive outlook on life:
  1. The sky is the limit to what I can have.
  2. I put all past mistakes and failures behind me; I delightfully look forward to a new day and new opportunities.
  3. I am what God says I am, I can do anything He says I can do.
  4. I choose to exercise patience as I go along my daily journey.
  5. I live one day at a time, I do not worry about the future.
  6. I commit adequate time daily to praying and studying the Word of God.
  7. I set realistic goals; I write them down and I put a plan of action in place to accomplish them.
  8. I choose to set a positive environment for my loved ones, circle of friends and other social environments in which I interact.
  9. I remove all limits off myself, for with God, I can excel to a new dimension in my life.
  10. I think positive thoughts at all times and I accept the confidence I feel because of it.
  11. I love the balance I get from weekly fellowships with my friends.
  12. I am inspired because of the great strides I’m making in my career.
  13. I devote time to myself daily because I know I deserve it.
  14. Because I take pride in what I put in my body, I engage in eating 3 healthy meals a day.
  15. God has not given me a spirit of fear, but of love and of a sound mind.
  16. I choose to operate in peace and love.
  17. I thrive off of my past failures for they inspire me to succeed.
  18. I immediately seize every opportunity and open door as they are presented to me.
  19. I refrain from putting unnecessary pressure on myself and do my best in everything I do.
  20. I value my relationships and I delight in reaching out a helping hand.
  21. I value difficult challenges for they provide opportunities to improve my weaknesses.
  22. I accept myself for who I am, and I also accept others for who they are.
  23. I make wise decisions that are beneficial for me in the present day and in my future.
  24. I create balance in my life. I devote adequate time to myself, family, and my career and I keep them all within perspective.
  25. I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.
It may be helpful to say each affirmation out loud 3 times to yourself. This is something you can do while you’re in your car on the way to work or before you lay down at night. I also encourage you to study the word of God more. The word of God is full of affirmations.
Don’t let the enemy convince you against what the word of God tells you. The word of God tells us that we are more than a conqueror. It reminds us that we are victorious. My friend if these two affirmations alone aren’t enough to get you excited and fired up then I don’t know what is. Take control of your mind starting today as you go through your life journey.

Our Life Is Shaped By Our Thoughts

Our life is the way it is because of the thoughts we’ve had in the past.

I know some people have a hard time grasping this. They believe “Positive Thinking” and “Affirmations” are something “new” out of the 20th century. I think some even call it new age.

                                                                  Think again …..

Many of the worlds great philosophers spoke about how our thoughts affect our health and or lives ….

Thought quotes by Aristotle, Ancient Greek Philosopher (384 BC – 322 BC);
“The actuality of thought is life”
“Every art and every inquiry, and similarly every action and choice, is thought to aim at some good; and for this reason the good has rightly been declared to be that at which all things aim”

Thought quotes by Hippocrates Greek physician (460 – 377 BC);
“A wise man should consider that health is the greatest of human blessings, and learn how by his own thought to derive benefit from his illnesses.”

Thought quotes by Buddha, Hindu Prince Gautama Siddharta, Founder of Buddhism (563-483 B.C.)
“What we think, we become.”
“We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts, we make the world.”
“All that we are is the result of what we have thought.”
“All that we are is the result of what we have thought. If a man speaks or acts with an evil thought, pain follows him. If a man speaks or acts with a pure thought, happiness follows him, like a shadow that never leaves him.”

Thought quotes from the King James Bible
“The Lord knows that the thoughts of the wise are futile.”
1 Corinthians 3:19-21
“I will bring evil upon this people, even the fruit of their thoughts, because they have not hearkened unto my words, nor to my law, but rejected it”
Jeremiah 6:19

A Chinese Proverb:
“A man’s conversation is the mirror of his thoughts”
And one of my favorites, a thought quote by Marcus Aurelius, Roman Empereor (AD 121-180)
“Such as are your habitual thoughts, such also will be the character of your mind; for the soul is dyed by the thoughts”
Notice the word Habitual thoughts in the above quote?
Many of us go through life with the same ole thoughts over and over again. We’re just like a hamster going ’round and ’round on a spinning wheel … and we just can’t figure out why we never seem to get anywhere.

The answer to changing your life is to Change Your Thoughts - YES, it is possible!

Thoughts and Visualization – Are They Enough?

Every action starts with a thought but not all thoughts lead to action. How many times have you thought of a great idea but didn’t follow through with it?
What are your thoughts? What is it that you truly desire?

You’ve probably heard a lot about the Law of Attraction and Positive Thinking. I wholeheartedly believe in these techniques – however many people are led to believe that all they need to do is think and visualize to make their dreams come true.
It’s important that you know that Your thoughts, dreams and words will not magically give you the things you long for.

The only way you can create the life you desire is to TAKE ACTION.

For example if you visualize yourself in your dream job making a 6 figure income, and every day you affirm this by stating “I work at my dream job making a 6 figure income” – but don’t take action by acquiring the knowledge, skills and training you need for that job … You are just daydreaming.
In our example above, you may not know what skills and training you need …
That’s the beauty of the “Law of Attraction” is that by visualizing and affirming what you want, the answers will come to you on how to obtain it. You need to take action as soon as possible after you receive the answer.

Start a success journal. Every day write down the actions you took that will bring you one step closer to reaching your goal. You’ll be amazed at how all the little things add up.
Stop procrastinating and just do it. How many times have you dreaded doing certain task – and then after you’ve started you really get into it? It also usually takes a lot less time to achieve the task than you originally thought it would. And, you feel so much better once it’s done!
As you continue to use The Law of Attraction you’ll be surprised at how motivated you become to do whatever it takes to succeed.

You need to find the balance between positive thinking, visualizing and taking action. By utilizing the “Law of Attraction” and taking action when the answers come to you – you will achieve your goals quicker than you ever thought possible.

3 Steps to Make the Law of Attraction Work

AladdinsLampHave you ever sat back and thought how wonderful it would be if you could just wish things true?
We are brought up with these fantasies, as they are embodied in the fairy tale of Aladdin and the Magic Lamp. TV brings us the reruns of I Dream of Jeannie; Many movies and books also feed our imagination with genies, witches, and ghosts.
The dream of instant riches is evident in the popularity of gambling and state lotteries. Countless numbers of people spend their last dollar – or their rent – for the slight chance of winning millions and having their entire lives change in the course of minutes.
The irony of all of this is that we humans have always had the power to obtain our dreams all along. How? By working with The Law of Attraction. This law has been around since the universe began and is working in your life right now – whether or not you know about or believe it.

What is The Law of Attraction?
You get what you think about, your thoughts determine your destiny. Thoughts have an energy all their own, and they attract things which have a common energy. It is one of the Laws of the Divine Universe and it applies to everyone. It is as unbreakable as any law of science or mathematics. It does not even require your belief to work. Only to control it, to seize your destiny, must you believe in the Law’s power.

You’re probably asking how you can use the Law of Attraction to create the life you dream of. Here are some guidelines to help you get started …

1. Decide EXACTLY what it is that you want. You want to have a clear specific thought of what it is you want to create. If this is hard for you, you might think of what you don’t want – the reverse will more than likely be what you do want.

2. Set time aside each day to meditate. Concentrate on FEELING like you already have what you desire right now. You are living in your dream home. You are driving your brand new red sports car. You are financially independent. etc …

3. Show GRATTITUDE for what you already have, as well as what you are attracting. Say “I am so happy and thankful now that …” This helps you to obtain and maintain the positive vibrations needed to attract good things into your life. Often times, we don’t get what we want, because we are focusing on the negative. If we are waging war in our minds about what we don’t want – we are thinking about it.

Remember: The Law is working in all places at all times. It’s up to your to use it for yourself, rather than allow it to use you.

4 Easy Steps to Control Your Thoughts to Create the Life You Desire

Your life today is because of what you thought yesterday. If you want your tomorrow to be different, you must LEARN to control your thoughts.

Most people state not having what they want in life is their biggest frustration – yet they really do have exactly what they wished for based on their thought patterns.
Your mind is more potent that the most powerful man made computer today. Your mind is truly amazing. It processes EVERYTHING that goes into it, determines what’s important and what’s not, and then determines the outcome that is programmed into it – by you. It never fails; It will ALWAYS give you the result you programmed into it. For this reason, it is imperative that you learn to Control Your Thoughts.

Do you realize that the only difference between your success and that of say a Donald Trump or a Bill Gates is the way that they think?
Control-Your-ThoughtsYour thought patterns are based on everything you’ve been taught to believe since you were born. The good news is that these patterns can be changed – You can learn to control your thoughts.

Most people have no idea how to change their thought patterns. Here are 4 Easy Steps to Control Your Thoughts to Create the Life You Desire:

1. Become Conscious of Your Thoughts
Before you can change your thoughts – you need to know what you’re thinking. Are you fearful of losing your job? Are you always worrying that your marriage will end, or your teenager will get into trouble? Do you ask yourself why you always get stuck in traffic? Or why you are always running late? Are you always thinking of ways to juggle your bills or worried about how you will pay for this or that?
Realize that all of the above send out negative vibrations. If you really want to learn to control your thoughts, you need to accept the fact that your current life is the result of the above thought patterns.

2. Be Grateful for What You Have

You want to send out positive vibrations with happy thoughts. You do this by constantly being grateful for what you currently have in your life. It’s also important to show your gratitude to your loved ones.
Be thankful for the home you live in. Be thankful for the car you drive. Be thankful for the water you drink – the food you eat etc.
Tell your spouse “Thank You” for all the little things they do. Show them how much they are appreciated.
Tell your child that you are proud of their accomplishments.

3. Determine Exactly What You Want

Most people never take the time to decide what they want. Take some time and really think about this. If eructation or money was no problem – what would you be doing? Who would you be doing it with? Where would you live?
Create your fantasy life in your mind. Control your thoughts so you are constantly thinking of your fantasy life – and in time your subconscious will make it a reality.
Write down your goals and determine what actions are required to meet them. If you have no goals or aspirations in life and your thought patterns are rampant – You are allowing everyone else and everything else controls your life.

4. Practice Affirming and Visualizing Every Day

Affirm your goals every day. Visualize yourself living in your dream home, driving that new car etc. You need to add FEELING while stating your affirmations. You need to be passionate about achieving your goals. Feel the emotions you will feel when driving up to your new home. How will your decorate it? Enjoy it as if you already have it. The Power of Visualization has helped millions of people achieve their goals and make their dreams come true.

Why?

The words themselves have a strong influence over your ability to say the color. The interference between the different information (what the words say and the color of the words) your brain receives causes a problem. There are two theories that may explain the Stroop effect:
  1. Speed of Processing Theory: the interference occurs because words are read faster than colors are named.
  2. Selective Attention Theory: the interference occurs because naming colors requires more attention than reading words.
I think that this puzzle would be easier for a very young child than for older children or adults. Try this out on some small kids who know their colors, but cannot yet read! I would imagine that the children would not get confused by this puzzle because the words would not have any meaning to them.

How to use your Brain to lose weight!!!

Are you aware that your brain is actually a complex, powerful, computer? If you have a familiarity with computer programming, this may set off some sparks for you. If you don’t, that’s no problem.
You see, your brain, and more specifically, your subconscious mind, takes in whatever you feed it (your thoughts), and then without question, returns the result to you. If this were an actual computer program, it would be very simple. Remember the old saying, “garbage in, garbage out”? No calculations are done on your input. It is instead accepted as truth and returned right back to you.
For example, what if your input is “I will never lose weight. I will always be overweight.” Your subconscious mind will accept these thoughts, agree with you completely, and graciously help you to find any and all evidence in your life to support them. It will help you focus on how hard it is to get to the grocery store with the number of hours you work, how you don’t have any time to spare to take a 30 minute walk each day, and how everyone else eats processed food, so why shouldn’t you?
What if, just for the heck of it, you tried inputting this instead: “I love the taste of fresh fruits and vegetables. My body is slender and fit.” Your subconscious mind will also take this input (it does not know the difference between true and false, it accepts all input), and it will be happy to help you to support these thoughts in your life.
It will find the evidence for you that: the grocery store is on the way home if I take this street instead of the usual one, I’m really not interested in watching that show tonight, I’d rather take a walk instead, and look at how the others around me is asking what I are doing differently, they say that I seem so much happier!

How Can You Reprogram Your Powerful Brain?

So, how do you go about inputting new, positive information into your amazing, personal, computer? One way is with affirmations. Affirmations are statements that are spoken, written, or thought repeatedly. In a previous article, I wrote about how to uncover the unconscious negative beliefs that are holding you back from achieving your goal weight. You would use the same technique when inputting new, positive beliefs into your mind.
Try this now: take out your notebook, journal, piece of paper, or a napkin. :) Write down a positive thought that you would like to turn into a belief in your life. For example, start with something simple, like “I can lose weight”. Write this out 10 times. While you were writing it, did you believe it? Probably not, unless of course you already hold this belief, then you would write something else. Next, write your affirmation again 10 times, however each time your write it, also write down the first thought that pops into your head, your immediate response. Here’s an example of what your’s might look like:
  • I can lose weight/there’s no way, I’ve tried too many times
  • I can lose weight/it’s too hard
  • I can lose weight!/I don’t want to starve myself
  • I can lose weight/whatever!
  • I can lose weight/don’t think so
  • I can lose weight/get off my back!!
  • I can lose weight/why should I?
  • I can lose weight!!/give me a break!
  • I can lose weight/have to see about that
  • I can lose weight/I get too hungry
See how this works? You might be amazed at what you uncover. You may find a lot of anger, hurt, perhaps shame, embarrassment, and fear. Whatever you find, these thoughts are your unconscious responses to the changes that you are trying to effect in your life.
So what if you have been toiling away in the gym but underneath, your subconscious mind is fighting you with all its might? It believes that exercise is a waste of time, that it’s better to stay home and sleep, and that this is a phase, it’s only temporary. Look at the power that these thoughts hold in your life, and you are not even aware of them!

Action Step: Write One Affirmation per Day

Start now by making a commitment to yourself to write one affirmation a day, followed by your immediate, unconscious response. Write your affirmation 10 times, or more if you will. The more you do this, the quicker you can uncover those beliefs and negative thoughts that are wielding the power in your life, while at the same time, imprinting new, positive beliefs.
What you are accomplishing by writing down your negative responses is to bring them into the light, into your consciousness. Once you are consciously aware of them, then you can work to change them. Until you know what they are though, you will continue to be affected by them in your actions, in your life. You will end up taking those negative beliefs and making positive affirmations out of them, to uncover more negatives.
As you can see, this process can be applied to any area of your life: money, relationships, work, home, anything. Our focus in this topic is weight loss, but there is no reason that you cannot go for it and begin to make changes in other areas of your life.
I must give credit to one of my favorite teachers/authors, Louise L. Hay. Most of her work is centered on affirmations. I would recommend anything that she has written or recorded. I don’t even remember how I first came to know of her, but it was in the early 90′s. She is a wonderful, empathic author.

Wanna Learn Even More?

If you would like to learn more about the power of the mind, I highly recommend Psycho-Cybernetics by Dr. Maxwell Maltz. This was the first personal growth/improvement books that I can remember reading (update 4/14/07: my mom informed me that I started reading self-improvement books when I was 10, beginning with her books “I’m OK, You’re OK” by Thomas A. Harris, then Norman Vincent Peale’s “The Magic of Believing”, Wayne Dyer’s “Your Erroneous Zones” and “Pulling Your Own Strings”, and Psycho-Cybernetics when in my teens), back when I was in high school.

It’s a Process…

This book was only the first of many more in the area of self-discovery, personal development, and spiritual growth books that I’ve read as I’m continually inspired by the possibilities of the human potential – all you need to do is get out of your own way and weed out those unconscious, sabotaging thoughts and beliefs.
And believe me, negative beliefs about yourself and the world at large can definitely sabotage your healthy weight loss and fitness regime!

Imagination: The Power of Your Inner Vision

Imagination, which can also be called inner vision, is a gift that has many positive applications, but more than often it is not well-developed or correctly used. Few people possess the ability to control what enters their minds. They let their minds and imagination do as they please, and let any stray thought or mental image appear on the screen of their inner vision. This lack of control leads to lack of control over their lives.

Let your imagination run riot, and your life will be a mess. Control it and visualize only what you intentionally decide to visualize, and you change your life in accordance with your will.

What is the imagination, the inner vision? It is the ability to see in one's mind mental images of something that exists, and also the ability to imagine objects, situations or circumstances that do not exist now. Imagination is not only visualizing mental images. It is possible to visualize using all the five senses. You can visualize a sound, taste, smell or a sensation.

If you watch your mind, you will find out that you are constantly using your imagination in various ways. You use it while thinking about the past or future, planning, painting, writing, and describing something. You use it when you describe how to get to a certain street, when you read and when you daydream.

Do you write, paint or engage in any creative activity? Do you cook, decorate or love to do new things? If you do, then you are using your imagination.

When you worry or feel fear you use it too. At such times you automatically visualize unhappy or unfortunate situations. If you keep visualizing these negative mental images you may eventually attract them into your life.

If you see in your inner vision how you want your life to be, and continue watching this mental scene every day with faith, concentration and love, one day your life will look exactly as you imagine.

There are some people who say they have no imagination. There is no such thing. It may be weak, but they certainly possess it. It might also happen that their visual imagination is not strong, but they can visualize using their other five senses, as mentioned earlier.

The ability to visualize clearly can be developed, and this can be fun. Exercises for developing this ability will at the same time also improve your ability to concentrate, and as a bonus, you might find that you gain a power which you can use to shape and improve your life.

Developing the imagination, the power of your inner vision:

# Find some fifteen minutes every day for the exercises.

# Visualize something simple that you can believe you can get, such as going to a movie with your girl/boy friend or with your husband/wife, eating at a certain restaurant or doing something else you would like to do.

# Visualize your desire clearly, and include in the visualization all the five senses. If it is watching a movie together with another person, imagine the two of you entering the cinema and sitting down. Listen to the people around you, use your sense of smell and feel the coldness or warmth in the cinema hall. Visualize eating popcorn or drinking some soft drink, and enjoy the taste and smell.

# You might find out it is easier to imagine with some of the senses, and a little difficult to imagine with the others. Go on with the exercises and you will strengthen your ability to imagine with all the senses.

# Do the same exercise everyday, and you will find that it gradually becomes easier.

# Sometimes you may find that your mind starts to verbalize about what you are imagining. Be careful not to replace the imagination with words. The aim is to use the imagination, not words.

If you follow these suggestions you will develop your imagination, the power of the inner vision, which will be useful to you in many situations. You might also be surprised to discover that what you see in your mind, in your inner vision, comes true in real life.

Who controls YOUR mind

Few people are aware of the thoughts that pass through their minds. Most thinking is done in an automatic manner. If the thoughts are positive, then it is all right, but if they are negative, they might cause trouble.

The mind is like small child, who accepts and takes for granted whatever it sees or hears, without judgment and without considering the consequences. If you let your mind behave as it likes and give it complete freedom, you lose your freedom.

We are constantly flooded with thoughts, ideas and information coming through the five senses, other people, the newspapers and TV. These thoughts, ideas and information penetrate the mind whether we are aware of this process or not.

This outside flow influences our behavior and reactions. It influences the way we think, our preferences, likes and dislikes. This means that we let outside powers shape our lives. So where is freedom?

Most people think and believe that their thoughts originate from them, but have they ever stopped and considered whether their thoughts, desires, likes and dislikes are really theirs? Maybe they have come from the outside, and they have unconsciously accepted them as their own?

If there is no filter to process the thoughts that enter the mind, there is no freedom. This means that all actions are like the actions of a puppet on a string, though no one will admit this.

You may object and say that the thoughts that pass through your mind are yours, but are they? Have you deliberately and attentively created every thought that entered your mind?

Why let outside influences control your mind and life? Why let other people's thoughts control your life and mind? Do you want to make your mind free or do you prefer to enslave it to other people's opinions and thoughts? If you leave your mind open to every thought that passes by, you put our life in other people's hands, and without realizing it, you accept their thoughts and act in accordance with them.

Each person is more susceptible to certain kind of thoughts than others. Certain thoughts and ideas we ignore, and others spur us to immediate action. Thoughts concerning subjects we love have more power on us than other thoughts, but even thoughts and ideas that we don't care about, if we are frequently exposed to them, eventually sink into the subconscious mind and influence us.

Everyone has desires, ambitions and dreams that he or she may foster from childhood. They may be the thoughts of parents, teachers and friends, and which have lodged into our minds, and are carried around throughout our lives. Are they necessary? Do we need all this excessive baggage?

In order to reduce the power of outside influences and thoughts on your life, you need to be aware of the thoughts and desires that enter your mind, and ask yourself whether you really like them, and are willing to accept them into your life. Analyze your motives and actions, and you will be surprised to find out that many of them were triggered by outside influences.

You do not have to accept each and every thought, idea or information. Think and find out whether you entertain certain thoughts because you decided to do so, or because they just popped into your head due to outside influences.

Learn not to accept every thought that you encounter. Find first whether it is for your own good to follow it. It may not be so easy at the start, because the mind will revolt against this control. If you want to be the master of your mind and life, you should not let other people's thoughts, desires and motives rule your life, unless you consciously choose so.

Mind Power and Success

The mind plays an important role in achieving every kind of success and goal, minor, everyday goals or major goals.
With minor or day-to-day goals, one usually knows what he or she wants to do or get, but when it comes to major goals, most people don't know what they really desire. They desire to do something big, but they don't know what. They might have a vague idea, but this is not enough.
To accomplish anything, and to use your mind power, you have to know exactly what it is you want to do. To focus your mind power on a goal, you need to have a clear and well defined goal. How do you go about that?
You have first to think or meditate, to find out what is it that you want to accomplish or gain. This might not be a simple step, and requires deep thinking, investigation and time.
After discovering what you really want to accomplish, you need to come up with a plan for action. You need to know what you have to do first and how to proceed. All of this requires planning, which means using the power of the mind.
After deciding on a goal and coming up with a plan, you need to hold in your mind a clear mental image of your goal. You need to see it accomplished. This step requires that you use your imagination, which is another power of the mind. Not everyone can visualize clear mental images, but regular training of the imagination can do wonders. You may, for example, look at photos of what you want to achieve, and then close your eyes, and try to see it in your imagination. This will enhance your ability to visualize.
At this point, you have to display patience, self-discipline and the power to persist in your efforts. This requires a one pointed mind.
Affirmations are another useful mental tool for achieving success. What you affirm sinks into the subconscious mind, becomes part of the subconscious mind, and consequently affects your behavior and actions. If your affirmations are positive, they lead you to success.
Another important power of the mind is thought transference. You need to be able to transmit your thoughts to other people, who would aid you with your plans. Often, you have to persuade others to invest in your plans or to help you in other ways. It is not enough just to talk with them, you need to believe in what you are saying; you need to be enthusiastic and persuasive, otherwise they won't listen and won't care. You need to be able to reject your and their doubts. To be able to do so, you need concentration, control over your thoughts, willpower, self-discipline and patience. All these are mental tools and skills.
Motivation is another mental and emotional power that you require for achieving success. How can you achieve anything if you are not motivated enough? To increase your motivation and enthusiasm, think often of your goal, about its advantages and benefits, and how it will change your life. Doing so, will strengthen your motivation.
Your thoughts, which are part of your mind, possess power. The thoughts that you most often think tend to come true. If you pour your mental energy into the same thoughts or mental images day after day, they will become stronger and stronger, and would consequently affect your attitude, expectations, behavior and actions. These thoughts and mental images can even be subconsciously perceived by other people, who would then offer you help or opportunities. Your thoughts can also create what is usually termed as coincidence. They can attract into your life corresponding events, situations and opportunities.

Learn how to use the powers of your mind and imagination to shape your life and achieve dreams and goals.

Not every thought turns into reality. A thought has to be repeated often, and be tinged with desire, in order to come true. Doubts fears and worries tend to destroy what you build with the power of your mind. This means that you need to clear your mind of negative thoughts and doubts. You might say that this is not possible, but it is, through proper training, which you can find at this website, in the articles, ebooks and books.

The Power of The Subconscious Mind – How To Use It

How did visionaries like Napoleon Hill, Alias Howe, Thomas Edison and Walt Disney become so successful? The technique you’re about to learn will answer that question…

The Secret Subconscious Mind Exercise Used By Many Of The World’s Most Enlightened People

But first, have you ever wondered where brilliant ideas come from?
subconscious mind power
How do the world’s most prolific artists, business people, thinkers and inventors get the inspiration for their ideas, creations and achievements? Was it their upbringing? Are they just really lucky? Were they blessed with a gift most of us can only dream of? Or is there something else at work?
Back in 1937, personal development pioneer Napoleon Hill published ‘Think And Grow Rich’ a book that would soon go on to become one of the most influential publications of ALL time. The book was packed with techniques and instructions on how to develop a wealth mindset, and achieve success beyond your wildest dreams. Its contents were so powerful that to this day, ‘Think And Grow Rich’ is widely regarded as a benchmark of all other books of its kind. You’ve probably read it yourself.
But there was one particular technique in the book that shocked readers. It was so controversial, in fact, that Hill himself was initially hesitant to even reveal it at all.
That technique was called…

The Invisible Counselors Visualization Exercise

the subconscious power of mindIn the book Hill claimed this was his ultimate technique for sourcing skills, ideas and inspiration.
This is how you do it…
Step 1:
Just before going to sleep at night, close your eyes, and see, in your imagination, a group of people seated with you around a Council Table. Remember, you can invite anyone you like to sit at the Council Table.
And when I say anyone, I mean anyone. They could be in another part of the world. They could be celebrities or famous politicians. They could even be alive or dead. Now, not only do you have the opportunity to sit among those you consider to be great, but you can actually dominate the group, by serving as the Chairman. This is what Hill did.
Step 2:
Have a DEFINITIVE PURPOSE for holding these nightly Council Meetings.
Hill explains his definitive purpose was “to rebuild my own character so it would represent a composite of the characters of my imaginary counselors.” Your Definitive Purpose can be ANYTHING you want to change about yourself or your life. Since all this is going on in your mind, your imagination is the only limit!
Step 3:
Call on the Council Members for the knowledge you wish each to contribute.
  • The idea here is to start a discussion with these people on any topic of your choice. So if you want to discuss leadership, you could invite
  • Abraham Lincoln…
  • If you want to discuss financial success, you could bring in Warren Buffet…
  • If you’re looking for enlightenment, you could always invite Gandhi…
  • If you’re looking for ideas to grow your business and make your mark on the world, go ahead and call on Richard Branson.
  • And if you need some advice on how to improve your life and relationships… maybe ask Oprah a thing or two.
Hill had originally meant for the Invisible Counselors to be an imaginary exercise. You imagine you’re talking to successful people, and you imagine them giving you advice. Nothing much to it right?
But here’s where it gets really interesting. After a few times of trying out the Imaginary Counselors exercise, Hill found it to be more profound, more REAL than he ever thought possible.
He reported that after a while, each of the characters he imagined actually took on a life of their own. For example, he mentions that Abraham Lincoln was always late and never smiled. Hill even recalled an occasion where two counselors in the boardroom actually got into an argument over a topic that left Hill mystified…
And on numerous occasions, the people he had invited would often give him advice and information that he could never have known by himself.

But how was this possible? If all this was just going on inside Hill’s head, how could he be picturing, hearing and learning things outside of his own comprehension? What was going on here? Was Hill really communicating with these people on some other plane of existence? Or did he just have an overactive imagination?
Before you jump to any conclusions, consider this…
Napoleon Hill was not alone.
For centuries, some of the world’s most successful and influential people have reported experiencing similar inexplicable flashes of inspiration.
Miraculously, he’d wake up from these naps not with a headache, but with dozens of new ideas and inspirations for how to proceed with his research.
Interestingly, Edison has been quoted as saying, “Ideas come from space. It’s hard to believe but it’s true. Ideas come from out of space.”
And then there was Elias Howe, the inventor of the sewing machine. You may not know this, but Elias got the inspiration to create the sewing machine from a dream. Here’s how he explains the dream…
“I was in Africa and was being chased by wild cannibals. They caught me and placed me in a huge pot. I kept trying to get out but they kept forcing me back in with spears.”
The spears Howe saw in his dream had holes in the tips. It was this bit of information that gave him the idea for the sewing machine needle.
Walt Disney also had his own unusual method of coming up with powerful ideas.
Whenever he had an idea, Disney would run it through a meticulous 3-step process to guarantee his idea always turned out unique, powerful and feasible.
So what was the first step? Did he analyze market conditions? Study the competition? Plan his budget?
No. He would simply close his eyes, and dream.
All these highly successful people have one thing in common…
They had discovered how to tap into a force beyond the confines of their minds, and draw from it infinite amounts of wisdom, inspirationand success.
And you know what? YOU could be doing this too.
Remember how in the movie ‘The Matrix’, people were able to instantly download skills and abilities into their minds?
What if that was real? Imagine that for a second…
You could be a billionaire. A world leader. An award-winning painter. An explorer. A fighter jet pilot. A superstar. An entrepreneur. A martial arts master. A best-selling author.
You could be anyone you want.Do anything you want. See everything you want.
Well guess what? The Matrix was right.
Hill, Edison, Howe and Disney were right.
And there’s a man who has taken it to a whole new level. A man who has used this EXACT technique to start a million-dollar business, become a master painter and photographer, and find a soulmate 30 years younger…
…and all just before his 80th birthday.
A word of warning – you’ve probably never seen anything like this before.
The technique I’m talking about is based on quantum physics, the theory of multiple universes, and new breakthroughs on the power of the subconscious mind.
Its time you meet this extraordinary man and learn how to apply this powerful technique in your life
